From sketching designs in the margins of my notebooks to sewing clothes for my Barbie dolls, I always knew fashion was my calling. There is nothing quite like the feeling of turning that childhood dream into a career where I get to create clothing that makes women feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.
As Associate Design Director of Women's Denim at Liverpool Los Angeles, I bring over a decade of hands-on experience, an instinct for what's next in trend, and a genuine obsession with the details that make denim feel just right. Over my seven years with the company, I have grown alongside Liverpool through an incredible era of transformation. I take pride in being an integral part of the team that took the brand from a $40 million company with startup energy to a thriving $100 million company. Many of the fits I have introduced along the way have become legacy styles for the brand, leaving a lasting mark on the denim division and its continued success.
Today, I lead and mentor a team of designers while working cross-functionally with technical design, production, and product development partners to bring each collection to life from concept to floor. It is collaborative, fast-paced, and endlessly creative.
Before Liverpool, I was a part of Pistola, Big Star, and Siwy where I developed deep expertise in fabric and wash R&D, trend forecasting, and the art of building a cohesive collection from the ground up. I have spent my whole career in denim, so I am the kind of designer who geeks out over the perfect indigo wash just as much as a silhouette that flatters every body.
I am also a proud FIDM graduate and alumna of the highly selective 2012 Debut Program, where just ten students per year are chosen to continue into a third year of study. It was there that I created my first 12-look collection from sketch to final garment, and the moment I knew without a doubt that this was exactly what I was meant to do.
At the heart of everything I do is a love for the craft, a passion for the woman I am designing for, and a drive to create denim that does more than just fit well, it makes her feel like the best version of herself. That is what gets me excited to show up every single day.
